CRS Partners in Albania

CRS Albania currently supports projects that are implemented by a variety of local partners including the Catholic Church, local nongovernmental organizations, national and local government ministries, parent councils, youth groups, hospitals and other institutions.

Through the implementation of U.S. Department of Agriculture-supported food programs, CRS has worked closely with the Albanian Department of Labor and Social Affairs, local NGOs and Caritas partners to identify the neediest beneficiaries.

CRS Albania's Education Program collaborates with the Ministry of Education, as well as with local education authorities, parent/teacher councils, youth councils and other civil society groups to further its goal of improving education in Albania through Capacity building and civic participation.

CRS Albania also established partnerships with and has developed a strategy for increasing cooperation with Caritas to support church-sponsored youth programs throughout Albania, as well as justice and peace activities in areas affected by blood feuds.
