Building Skills for Peace

The findings of the CIRCA final evaluation

This 6-page brief summarizes the key findings from the final evaluation of a CRS-led peacebuilding project in Africa. Called "CIRCA," the Capacity for Interreligious Community Action program was a three-year capacity-building program financed by the GHR Foundation and supplemented by Catholic Relief Services. The overarching goal of the program was to contribute to human development and more peaceful coexistence among Muslim and Christian communities in Egypt, Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda. The program had two components: training and practical application by the participants of the knowledge they had acquired from the trainings. The full evaluation is available for download at this page.
