Guidelines for Establishing and Operating Successful Support Groups for People Living with HIV

Catholic Relief Services conducted research with more than 10 organizations in Zimbabwe to understand the keys to formation and operation of successful support groups. This booklet articulates a set of basic guidelines developed as a result of that effort. The audience is people living with HIV who belong to support groups or who want to form support groups, as well as the non-governmental organizations, community-based organizations, and health facilities that help to establish and operate such groups.
