CRS in Russia

CRS operated in Russia in the 1990s. The program was initiated with the help of the archbishop of the Archdiocese of Anchorage.

CRS’ work in the country was varied, ranging from food security and preventative dental services to programs with orphanages and the elderly. We also provided support for volunteers from Caritas Japan who served local parishes.
