CRS Partners in Togo

Charitable Organization for Integral Development

Catholic Relief Services collaborates with the Catholic Church of Togo to serve the Togolese people. CRS partners with Caritas Togo on a care and support project for people living with HIV. Bishop Ambroise Djoliba, the current president of the Episcopal Conference of Togo, leads the Charitable Organization for Integral Development (OCDI), which has branches in each of the seven dioceses and more than 70 health centers throughout the country. OCDI also participates in emergency and relief work.

National Episcopal Peace and Justice Commission

The National Episcopal Peace and Justice Commission is responsible for the implementation of the Episcopal Conference of Togo's policy of promoting a culture of peace. Represented in each of the seven dioceses, the commission is recognized by the government for its contribution to citizenship awareness and reconciliation.
