Venezuela
The goal of Catholic Relief Services' work in Venezuela is to help flood victims in the states of Vargas, Caracas and Miranda rebuild their communities. After severe flooding in 1999, CRS worked with Caritas Venezuela to develop the current 33 month, $2.71 million rehabilitation project. Nearly 130,000 affected individuals are currently receiving assistance.
The project focuses on three program sectors: civil society strengthening, Health, and housing rehabilitation.
