On June 18, Catholic Relief Services President & CEO Carolyn Y. Woo was invited to join an esteemed panel in Rome as Pope Francis introduced his highly anticipated encyclical, “Laudato Si'”. After the ceremony at the Vatican, Dr. Woo hosted a conference call discussing key messages in the encyclical and the Pope’s urgent call to action. She was joined on the call by Bill O’Keefe, CRS vice president for Government Relations and Advocacy; and Shaun Ferris, CRS senior advisor, Agriculture and Environment, who provided insights about CRS programming that helps communities overseas adapt to climate conditions and mitigate the effects of climate change.

We invite you to read a transcript of the conference call.
