Biography
Nora Lindström has been working at the intersection of technology, global development, and human rights for over 15 years. She joined CRS in 2021 to lead the ICT4D team, having worked in a number of international non-governmental and civil society organizations in Cambodia, Malawi, and Finland.
As a thought leader in the ICT4D space, Nora actively contributes to discussions on how to effectively and responsibly leverage technology for development and humanitarian outcomes. She is also a sought-after advisor on the establishment of effective ICT4D practices among organizations. In addition, Nora has significant experience in topics related to digital inclusion, in particular on the digital gender divide.
As the former chair of the Digital Principles Advisory Committee with the Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL), Nora is also well versed in speaking about the best practices in embedding the use of technology into programming, as well as about the Principles for Digital Development.
